/ 4 Steps to practice your mindful moments from home

My favorite thing about this practice is how accessible it is. You don’t need a designated place to practice. Yoga meets you where you are - as long as you are willing to approach it.

Dedicate a minimum of practice for yourself each day

Even if it’s just 10 minutes, hold yourself accountable. If 10 minutes is your practice then, it’s just that—everything else is bonus time! Practice regularly: once a week is beneficial, three times is great, every day is awesome too.

Create a comfortable spot for your yoga practice

Make a specific spot in your home that is specifically reserved for your practice. You can do yoga anywhere as long as you have enough space around you. Create the best space you can and enjoy your practice! Practice and all is coming.

Accessorize for a supportive practice

Accessories and even a yoga mat are by no means a prerequisite to practice but using blocks and a bolster are a great addition to support you through your practice.

Always relax with Savasana

I’m known for extensive Savasanas. I think it is really important to give your body time to relax in Savasana after a yoga practice. The nervous system needs time to assimilate the benefits it has gained during the practice, especially after an intense yoga class.
